Event preparing for the UN Climate Summit COP29
We invite you to read the recommendations of the discussion among representatives of the UN, business, science, climate activists and public administration. Thanks to over 30 debates, discussions and events with the participation of over 1,300 people in person and 2,500 people online, a document was created containing the Polish view on climate issues before COP 28. The document will be presented during the UN climate summit COP 28 in the United Arab Emirates.

The two-day PRECOP 28 conference is a preparatory event preceding the United Arab Emirates Climate Summit (the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference – COP28) – the world’s largest forum for common climate change policy.
The agenda of the meeting included the most relevant topics related to the reduction in CO2 emissions, Polish and European climate policy, and halting global warming as well as mitigating the already visible and ever growing consequences of the climate catastrophe.
The conference was attended by senior representatives of UN and EU agencies, ambassadors and politicians, former COP presidents, and representatives of science, business, institutions and organisations.
