Position: coordinator of the Coalition for Climate Education
Johnny joined EARTHDAY.ORG in October 2022, since then he's been coordinating the global
Climate Education Coalition and working with governments with aim to integrate climate
education in the NDCs. Born in Warsaw, Poland where he developed his passion for civic
engagement in high school and became a member of the climate movement by joining Fridays
For Future. In 2020, Johnny was one of the youth advocates who persuaded the Polish Minister of
Education to introduce climate educatio n to the national curricula. For his achievements he was
granted the Mazowiecki Award for Youth Civic Engagement by the Mayor of Warsaw. Currently,
studying Political Science and Geography at Trinity College Dublin.
