Researcher at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. Member of the Light Pollution Think Tank. Research interests: 1) plant photobiology including the use of light and LED lamps to improve the yield quality of horticultural plants and plant responses to the stress of light pollution at night; 2) physiology of plant responses to stress factors, in particular the response of the antioxidant system, the effect of urban conditions on the functioning of trees and shrubs, responses to hypoxia conditions within the root system; 3) nitrogen metabolism of plants and the possibilities of its regulation. Involved in disseminating knowledge on the effects of light pollution on plants and the environment.
