Prof. Krystyna Pawlas, PhD, DSc, is a faculty member at the Wroclaw Medical University in the Department of Environmental Health, Occupational Medicine, and Epidemiology. She is the President of the Polish Society for Environmental Medicine. Previously, she also worked at the Institute of Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health in Sosnowiec (until its liquidation). She was Poland's first National Consultant in the field of environmental health. She has collaborated with scientific institutions across Europe and the United States She is the author or co-author of over 300 publications in the fields of occupational hygiene and environmental health.
