Dominik Skrobacz is the CEO of OVOO Energy, a company developing advanced IT systems for distributed energy, ranging from energy balancing and billing to energy and flexibility management. The technologies developed by the company leverage artificial intelligence for forecasting, data analysis, and decision support. Through the "Platforma dla Energii" (Energy Platform), they have been supporting Polish energy cooperatives for five years.
He has over 20 years of experience designing large-scale, real-time IT systems. As a systems architect and advisor, he has been involved in projects for some of the world's largest technology providers and telecommunication operators. Since 2012, he has also been leading OVOO, delivering advanced systems to the telecommunications, financial, and energy sectors.
Today, he brings the expertise gained from building systems that process millions of real-time operations into the energy sector. He focuses on technologies that enable the smart management of thousands of distributed energy resources, energy storage systems, and consumers, utilizing their flexibility to support the broader power grid.
He is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
