Agenda

Water is becoming a critical resource for economic resilience, business stability, and food security. Drought, rising consumption, and pressure on water systems are elevating risks for industry, energy, cities, and infrastructure. How can companies reduce their water footprint and protect resources across entire river basins? Is a cross-sector water protection program needed? What investments in retention, infrastructure, and closed-loop systems will be necessary? A debate on water security, corporate responsibility, and the costs of inaction. The session will be preceded by the launch of the publication "Business and Nature: A Guide to Impacts on Water and Biodiversity," prepared by UN Global Compact Network Poland.
