Thematic scope

REPowerEU plan as the EU’s response to the urgent need to transform the European energy system in order to become independent from Russian fossil fuels, used as an economic and political weapon, and to overcome the climate crisis. The panel will show how the measures in the REPowerEU plan will achieve these goals by improving energy efficiency, diversifying energy supply sources and accelerating the development of renewable energy. It will attempt to answer the question: How accelerating the green transition can affect economic growth, security and halting climate change.
