Professor at the University of Economics in Katowice and ESG expert at EcoGreen. Author and co-author of over 200 scientific and popular-science publications on mobility, urban logistics, decarbonization, and ESG. He teaches and conducts training on decarbonization and the green transition in MBA and postgraduate programs. Former Rector of the University of Economics in Katowice and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology. He has held managerial roles at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and in the supervisory boards of state-owned companies (Węglokoks SA and JSW SA). He has been appointed to the Scientific Council of the Integrated Railway Network established by CPK and serves on the editorial boards of the journals Transport Problems and Transport Miejski i Regionalny.
