Yuliia Helazhys
Position: Head of the Climate Programs, UN Global Compact Ukraine
Yuliia Helazhys is the Head of Innovation and Climate at the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine, the Ukrainian network of the world’s largest community of responsible businesses, where she coordinates the Climate Ambition Accelerator program.
With a background in economics, Yuliia has experience in project management, marketing and business operations. She has worked in Ukrainian and international companies in heavy machinery, marketing, retail and other industries.
Yuliia believes business can drive innovative change towards sustainability. She envisions a world caring for the environment and future generations.
Her publications cover energy efficiency, urban development, construction innovation. Her master's thesis examined business planning for the integration of renewable energy sources into housing.
