Alexandrina Boyanova is a professional banker with over 25 years of experience, of which over 16 years at the European Investment Bank (EIB). She is currently heading the Climate Office in EIB’s Operations (Front Office) Directorate, having previously covered the energy and banking sectors in Poland, as well as South-East Europe. Her current areas of responsibility include the design and operationalisation of EIB’s climate-related policies (including in the energy sector), as well as more generally - the implementation of EIB Group’s Climate Bank Roadmap, new (green) product development and EU Taxonomy alignment. Alexandrina is Bulgarian and speaks 5 languages.
