
Aleksandra Stanek-Kowalczyk

Aleksandra Kowalczyk–Stanek, PhD, specializes in responsible management and sustainable development strategies, sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, key stakeholders relationship management and responsible sales.
From 2019 to 2023 the owner of a sustainability advisory firm. Since 2019, she has been an assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. From 2009 to 2019, she worked for the Big Four consulting firms. She has executed several hundred advisory projects for the largest entities and capital groups operating in Poland and on foreign markets.
From 2019 to 2023, she was a member of the Global Reporting Initiative Stakeholder Council, a member of the Working Group for the development of non-financial reporting at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, a member of the Working Group for improving ESG reporting among Polish companies at the Ministry of Finance, and a member of the Taxonomy Working Group at the Ministry of Development and Technology. She also served as the Vice-Chair of the Responsible Sales Declaration Council.
She is the author of numerous publications on responsible management and sustainable business. A Jagiellonian University graduate in political sciences and management , she also completed the MBA Management for Central and Eastern Europe program at Viadrina University, and the international LEAD - Leadership for Sustainable Future program. She defended her PhD thesis with a distinction at the Warsaw School of Economics, and was awarded the second prize in the Verba Veritatis competition for the best dissertations on ethics and responsible management.
